Changing patterns in mobility lead to changes in transport culture, not least in public transport. It is therefore important to recognize and cater to the needs of customers. Ideally this will lead to changes in the mind-set and attitudes of decision makers on all levels. With a change of perspectives and heightened focus on the actual needs of a younger demographic many challenges of the future can be anticipated and dealt with now, including requirements of a more environmentally-conscious approach to public transport. The main aim is to offer attractive, green public transport that is also good entrepreneurship. The mind-set and attitudes of young people today should inform today´s decisions in order to safeguard tomorrow´s mobility.
