Abstract
Mit der Erstellung einer regionalen Bevölkerungsprognose ist die Weiterentwicklung des rheinland-pfälzischen Landesinformationssystems vom Analyse- zum Analyse- und Prognosesystem eingeleitet worden. Der Autor gibt einen Überblick über den Aufbau des Prognosemodells, die Programmentwicklung sowie die einzelnen Prognoseschritte. Der regionalen Bevölkerungsprognose soll demnächst eine regionale Schülerprognose folgen. hb
