Evaluation von P+R- und B+R-Anlagen in Dortmund. Ergebnisse einer Bestandserhebung und einer Nutzerbefragung

Abstract

In der Dortmunder Stadtverwaltung begann die Diskussion, ob Anlagen für Park-and-Ride (P+R) zur Verminderung des Pkw-Verkehrs in der Innenstadt beitragen können, in den 1980er Jahren. Seither sind vereinzelt größere und kleine Anlagen auf dem Dortmunder Stadtgebiet entstanden. Basis hierfür war das P+R- /B+R-Konzept Dortmund 2005, welches das Stadtplanungsamt im Jahr 2006 beschloss. Eine Evaluation der Wirkungen des seitherigen Anlagenausbaus ist jedoch nicht erfolgt. Darum erforschten zehn Raumplanungs-Studierende der TU Dortmund von Oktober 2017 bis Juli 2018, ob die Dortmunder P+R- und B+R-Anlagen als erfolgreich bezeichnet werden können. Durch umfassende Bestandsaufnahmen und Interviews mit Nutzenden können nun Aussagen zum Zustand der Anlagen als auch zur Art und Weise der Nutzung vor Ort getätigt werden.The discussion among the city s administration whether Park-and-Ride facilities may contribute to a reduction of passenger car traffic in the city centre of Dortmund began in the 1980s. Since then, some big and small facilities have been erected here and there throughout the city s landscape, based on the P+R /B+R concept Dortmund 2005, which was decided on by the city planning office in the year 2006. However, since then an evaluation of the effects of this development has not been carried out. Therefore, ten students of Spatial Planning at the Dortmund School of Spatial Planning set out to explore from October 2017 to July 2018 whether the Park-and-Ride and Bike-and-Ride facilities in Dortmund could be considered successful. An extensive survey together with user interviews enables the participants to make statements about the condition of these facilities at the present time and furthermore lets them shed a light on the specific ways of usage on the spot.
