Mit der U-Bahn bis zum Rathaus. Nord-Süd Stadtbahn Köln: Zweite Station im Dezember 2012 eröffnet.

Abstract

Als zweite Station der Nord-Süd Stadtbahn Köln ging pünktlich zum Fahrplanwechsel am 9. Dezember 2012 die unterirdische Stadtbahn-Haltestelle Rathaus in Betrieb. Die aus Ossendorf kommende Linie 5 fährt nun im Zehn-Minuten-Takt den Westbahnsteig an und von dort aus zurück Richtung Dom/Hauptbahnhof. Im Dezember 2013 wird die Linie bis zur Haltestelle Heumarkt verlängert, die einen Knotenpunkt mit den Linien 1,7 und 9 bildet. Eine Gesamtinbetriebnahme der Nord-Süd Stadtbahn ist erst nach Abschluss der Ursachenforschung zum tragischen Einsturzunglück am 3. März 2009 und nach der Sanierung des Gleiswechselbauwerks möglich.Cologne's North-South Urban Light Railway has opened its second subway station Rathaus just in time with the timetable change on December, 9th 2012.
