Abstract
Meanwhile stops with roadway raisings have proved successful in practice and are being accepted in many cities despite the initial skeptics. This resulted in the realization of interesting solutions which allow flexible using of construction depending on the circumstances. Hence, the roadway raisings allow a broadening of the design repertoire for the construction of grade crossings at stops amidst the complex challenges of urban spaces having problems with usage competition and space.
