Der Begriff Paratransit bezeichnet eine Vielfalt kleinteiliger Mobilitätsdienste, die flexible ÖPNV-Angebote umfasst, aber deutlich darüber hinausgeht. Anlässlich einer internationalen Tagung stellt der Beitrag die wesentlichen Elemente vor, mit Schwerpunkt auf dem US-amerikanischen Kontext. Die Dienste sind hier stark auf die Beförderung von Senioren und Mobilitätseingeschränkten ausgerichtet.The term "Paratransit" refers to an array of small-scale mobility services including flexible public transport, but extending well beyond.
