Stuttgart Services. Die Bürgerkarte für alle Fälle. Der Weg von der Machbarkeitsstudie zum Forschungs- und Umsetztungsprojekt.

Abstract

Das Projekt Stuttgart Services wurde im Jahr 2012 als Leitprojekt in die Bewerbung des Landes Baden-Württemberg auf die bundesweite Ausschreibung der Schaufenster Elektromobilität hinzugenommen. Stuttgart Services fokussiert, ähnlich wie das darin aufgegangene Projekt Smart City Card, das Thema Elektromobilität und insbesondere die intermodale Vernetzung in urbanen Räumen. Im Wesentlichen handelt es sich bei Stuttgart Services um den Aufbau einer multimodalen Informations- und Buchungsplattform, die Einführung einer einheitlichen Chipkarte und auch um die Einführung eines elektronischen Ticketing-Systems im Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund Stuttgart (VVS).The project Stuttgart Services was launched in 2012, after the German Federal Government had announced the bidding procedure for the E-Mobility showcase Schaufenster Elektromobilität. Stuttgart Services has been listed as a key project in the application of Baden-Wuerttemberg. Like in the forerunner project Smart City Card, the focus is on the topic of electric mobility, and in particular on intermodal integration in urban areas. Essentially, Stuttgart Services establishes a multimodal information- and booking platform by means of one single smart card. It also introduces an electronic ticketing system in the VVS Transit and Tariff Association Stuttgart.
