Abstract
Was bewegt uns? difu
Major roads and squares make up the basic features of every town, characterized by the public transport system and essential transport installations - yet often in a negative way. Roundabouts and lighting form the essential components of a town's public transport infrastructure. In addition to the above, also discussed are cases of restoring roundabouts - currently serving as traffic distribution hubs - to their basic function as a square; the regeneration of a towns' public transport installations more in line with their traffic technology-related functions; design efforts geared to local public transport requirement. Positive cases tend to inspire encouragement. Building culture in the public transport sector, however, is as yet a rarity. difu
