Abstract

Das Haltestellenmanagementsystem (HMS) ist eine moderne Internetanwendung zur zentralen Speicherung der Daten aller modernisierten Bushaltestellen im Tarifgebiet des Nordhessischen Verkehrsverbunds (NVV). Dem Fahrgast bietet das HMS eine schnelle Recherchemöglichkeit nach Haltestellen und Zugriff auf alle für ihn relevanten Informationen. Auf der anderen Seite ist das HMS ein effizientes Planungsinstrument für die Fachabteilungen des NVV für die Bestückung der Fahrplankästen und Vitrinen mit Netz- und Fahrplänen, Sonderinformationen und Werbung.The station management system HMS is an up-to-date internet application to store the information about all modern bus stops within the region of the NVV transport authority. On the one hand HMS is seamlessly integrated into the NVV website to provide passengers and local authorities precise services and information concerning their stations. On the other hand the HMS is a planning instrument for the departments within the NVV and external service providers. The departments use the HMS for planning the equipment of the display cases at the stations with timetables, network maps and advertisements.
