Abstract
The Majorcan Railway Company Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM) ordered six Vossloh Tram-Train vehicles for its island route Manacor-Artá. Vossloh realizes Tram-Trains: Light articulated vehicles that function as a suburban train in the metropolitan area and as a tram in the urban context. This is a bidirectional electric unit, capable of surface and underground travel. The first tram-train was completed in February 2011 and is currently completing test runs at Mallorca.
