Abstract

Das Handy ist ein innovativer Fahrkartenautomat in der Tasche der Kunden, der immer gleich funktioniert, auch wenn man in anderen Regionen ist. Dies ist ein erstes Ergebnis des gemeinsamen Handy-Ticket-Pilotprojektes von VDV-Mitgliedsunternehmen. Noch steckt der Vertriebsweg aber in der Nische der technikaffinen Nutzer, doch besitzt er angesichts der weiten Verbreitung des Mobiltelefons und der Verbindung von komfortablem Ticketerwerb und Informationszugang eine hohes Potenzial. difuThe mobile phone is an innovative ticket machine in the customers pocket, working pro­perly even if they are staying in other regional zones. This is one of the first results of the mobile-ticket pilot scheme by some member companies of the German Transport Undertakings Association (VDV). The distribution channel is still in a niche. However, due to the wide spread of mobile phones combined with a comfortable ticket buying and information access it has high potential for further business. difu
