Abstract
Aufgrund der rückläufigen, staatlichen Mittel zur Finanzierung des öffentlichen Personennahverkehrs kommt der erlösoptimalen Gestaltung von Tarifsystemen eine hohe Bedeutung zu. BSL Management Consultants haben zusammen mit dem Qualitätsforschungsinstitut Quotas in einer bundesweiten Studie die zentralen Erfolgsfaktoren von ÖPNV-Tarifsystemen untersucht. Im Rahmen eines Panels wurden hierzu mehr als 2500 Kunden und Nichtkunden aus elf Verkehrsverbünden befragt. Due to declining public funds for public transport systems the design of fare systems becomes more and more important. Together with the quality research institute Quotas BSL Management Consultants has undertaken a market survey on the key success factors for fare systems in public transport. Therfore more than 2,500 users and non-users from eleven transportation assiciations were interviewed. The study shows that beside the design of the fare system the communication is an essential success factor that needs to be improved substantially at several transportation associations. difu
