Datenlandschaft statt Insellösung. Augsburger Stadtwerke entscheiden sich für Betriebshofmanagementsystem mit vielen Schnittstellen.

Abstract

Die Planungs- und Überwachungssysteme der Stadtwerke Augsburg Verkehrs-GmbH bestanden aus einer Vielzahl voneinander unabhängiger Insellösungen. Daher entschloss sich die Geschäftsleitung zur Einführung eines modernen Betriebshofmanagementsystems (BMS). Zum Auftrag gehörten außerdem umfangreiche Hardware, die ein hochverfügbares BMS mit größter Ausfallsicherheit garantieren sollte, sowie die Erneuerung der Busortungshardware auf dem Busbetriebshof. Auftragnehmer wurde die Berliner PSI Transcom GmbH mit ihrem BMS PSItraffic. In enger Kooperation sorgte für eine unternehmensweit durchgängige, identische Datenbasis.The planning and control systems of the municipal utility Stadtwerke Augsburg Verkehrs-GmbH consisted of a numerous independent isolated applications. Therefore, the management decided to implement a modern depot management system (DMS). Part of the order was to present an extensive hardware to guarantee a highly available DMS. This means the highest degree of fail-safe operation as well as the renewal of the bus location system hardware. Contractor was the Berlin PSI Transcom GmbH by using its DMS PSItraffic. In close cooperation, the standard program was customized to the municipal utility providing a continuous identical data base.
