Abstract
As of 28 November 2014 there were 27 authorities responsible for the regional rail transport and 65 transportation associations registered in Germany; thereof 10 associations responsible for regional rail transport. Now, there are 66 transportation associations and no authority less. Bernhard Wewers, managing director of the regional passenger transportation association Schleswig-Holstein (NAH.SH) is describing the constitution of the new association in the real North and how to proceed. According to Wewers, NAH-SH is the promise of the local transport actors to improve the local passenger transport by cooperating with other local transport means and communicating openly and transparently.
