Abstract
Die Gründung von Divisional Development Councils (DDCs) entsprechend dem Fünfjahresplan 1972-76 kam der Forderung nach einem Entwicklungsmodell nach, das Mindestanforderungen an das Kapital stellte und lokale Ressourcen, incl. der Arbeitskräfte, in weitestgehendem Maße nutzte. Die DDCs erreichten eine Verbindung von Verfügbarkeit über lokale Rohstoffe, vorhandenen Grundkenntnissen und umfangreicher Nachfrage nach Konsum- und Kapitalgütern. DSE
