Schüler "erfahren" den Nahverkehr Jugendliche als Zielgruppe des Mobilitätsmanagements der Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft - das Projekt Mobi-Race.

Abstract

Die Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG) hat mit Mobi-Race ein Mobilitätsprojekt für Fünftklässler in München ins Leben gerufen. Den Schülern wird im Unterricht vermittelt, wie sie selbstständig Bus und Bahn nutzen können. In einer Stadtrallye zeigen die Schüler dann praktisch was sie gelernt haben. Die Evaluationsergebnisse zeigen, dass das Projekt eine gute Möglichkeit ist, die Nutzung des ÖPNV für die Freizeitmobilität der Jugendlichen zu fördern. difuMVG (Munich s municipal transit authority) created a project aimed at students in the age of 11 and 12. Focus of that project is to enable the pupils to use public transport independently from parents and teachers. That is done by a theoretical part in class and real life experience - outside the classroom: a public transport rallye covering the complete city area, where the pupils can use and demonstrate the freshly aquired knowledge. The results of the evaluation proves that the project is successful in encouraging the use of public transport by the pupils also in their free time. difu
