Innotrans 2014: Zum zehnten Mal Schaufenster der Bahnwelt. Vorschau auf die internationale Leitmesse der Bahntechnologie.

Abstract

Die Jubiläumsmesse Innotrans 2014 findet vom 23. bis 26. September auf dem Messegelände am Berliner Funkturm statt. Es haben sich mehr als 2700 Austeller aus 51 Ländern angemeldet, davon kommen rund 60 Prozent aus dem internationalen Raum. Damit hat die Innotrans 2014 ihren Ruf als größte Fachmesse für Verkehrstechnik in der Welt weiter gefestigt und ausgebaut. Neu im Ausstellungskonzept ist der Future Mobility Park, eine zentrale Plattform für die Vorstellung zukunftsweisender Verkehrskonzepte. Mit der Einbeziehung des neuen Messegebäudes City Cube Berlin sind erstmals 40 statt bisher 38 Messehallen belegt. Damit wird das gesamte zur Verfügung stehende Messegelände (Hallen und Freiflächen) komplett genutzt. Die zur Verfügung stehenden 3500 laufenden Meter der messeeigenen Gleisanlage sind 2014 wieder vollständig ausgebucht. Dieser Beitrag widmet sich den zu erwartenden Präsentationen neuer Fahrzeuge für den Schienenpersonennahverkehr auf dem Freigelände.Beginning from 23rd to 26th September, the jubilee fair, the 10th InnoTrans takes place at the trade fair site Berlin Funkturm. More than 2700 exhibitors from 51 countries have been registered and about 60 per cent are from abroad. So, the InnoTrans 2014 has strengthened and extended its reputation as the world?s biggest expert fair for transport technology. A new part in the exhibition concept is the Future Mobility Park, a central platform for the presentation of trendsetting traffic concepts. For the first time, 40 exhibition halls are occupied instead of 38 as the years before including the new fair building City-Cube Berlin. So, the total available fairground (halls and open areas) will be used. The available 3500 m fair track system is again completely booked this year. This article is intended to give an overview of new vehicles for the local public transport which will be presented on the open area. Furthermore, a broad range of new rail vehicles is to be seen which impressively shows the efficiency of the German and International rail vehicle industry.
