Unkonventionelle Optionen zur Finanzierung des ÖPNV. Anregungen aus dem Ausland.

Abstract

Vor dem Hintergrund der Brisanz der Problemlage und der derzeit nach wie vor unzureichend geklärten Perspektiven der künftigen Finanzierung des ÖPNV in Deutschland wird eine intensive Beschäftigung mit aus der Sicht der traditionellen Finanzierung des ÖPNV innovativen/unkonventionellen Optionen für geboten angesehen. Das breite Spektrum der international diskutierten oder bereits erfolgreich praktizierten Optionen in dieser Hinsicht bietet dafür gute Anknüpfungspunkte. Dies wird anhand des in den USA praktizierten ­Instrumentenkastens dargestellt.Taking into account the dimension of the problem and the fact that the perspectives of the future financing of the public transport in Germany are still not yet clear, it is highly recommended to analyze (from the point of view of the traditional financing procedures in Germany) possible contributions of innovative/unconventional options. The broad spectrum of internationally discussed and yet employed options respectively offer good connecting links in this regard. This is shown based on an exemplary toolkit from the US.
