Abstract

Die Thematik Öffentlicher Verkehr und postfossile Mobilität gerät zunehmend in das fachliche und öffentliche Interesse. Der Artikel versucht eine zweigleisige Standortbestimmung. Diese wirft zunächst einen Blick auf zuletzt erfolgte Veröffentlichungen. Ein zweiter Teil analysiert internationale Entwicklungen im Bereich Urban-Rail-Systeme. Erkennbar wird dabei, dass in Deutschland die Anstrengungen zur Sicherung postfossiler Mobilität deutlich gesteigert werden müssen.Public Transport and Mobility beyond Oil are getting more and more attention from the scientific and public world. This article highlights two aspects: first recent publications concerning the topic and second international developments on urban rail systems. Conclusion is that Germany, even taking into account good initial conditions, has to increase its efforts to cope with the challenges of post-oil-mobility.
