Abstract

Dem Kombinierten Verkehr werden angesichts des steigenden Verkehrsaufkommens und sich gleichzeitig verschärfender Engpässe der Verkehrsinfrastruktur beachtliche Entwicklungsperspektiven zugeschrieben. Zur Realisierung dieser Marktpotenziale ist eine Integration des Kombinierten Verkehrs in logistische Prozessketten erforderlich. Hierfür stellt eine standardisierte Leistungserstellung eine wesentliche Voraussetzung dar. difuThis paper addresses the trial to raise the attractiveness of intermodal transport services for the shippers through the performance and quality measurement of intermodal transport solutions. The objective of this contribution is to discuss whether quality standards aligned with the sippers' requirements can influence the transport providers' performance and thus, increase the attractiveness of their intermodal transport service.
