Abstract

Regionale Einkommensunterschiede sind ein wichtiger Gradmesser des individuellen Wohlstandes. Die Entstehung und Entwicklung des regionalen Einkommens ist ein sehr komplexer Prozess, der von vielen Faktoren abhängig ist. Entsprechend ist die Darstellung und Analyse regionaler Einkommensunterschiede ein Untersuchungsobjekt systemischer Art, insbesondere wenn quantitative Aussagen zur künftigen Einkommensentwicklung der Regionen angestrebt werden.Regional income disparities are an important measure of individual welfare. The emergence and development of regional income is a very complex process which depends on many endogenous and exogenous factors. Correspondingly the description and analysis of regional differences in income is a suitable object of systemic investigation, particularly if quantitative statements on the future development of incomes in the regions are intended.
