Abstract

Die Fahrgäste im Gebiet des Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbundes sollen den ÖPNV zukünftig nach dem Motto "Einsteigen und Losfahren" nutzen können. Im Forschungsprojekt (((eSIM 2020, welches im Juli 2016 abgeschlossen wurde, konnte der Verbund gemeinsam mit seinen Partnern die Machbarkeit eines Be-In/Be-Out (BIBO)-Verfahrens mit Smartphones als Nutzermedien nachweisen. Auf dieser Basis wird in den kommenden Jahren die Entwicklung des BIBO-Wirksystems erfolgen. Dieses System soll dabei auf Smartphones und KVP-(Kundenvertragspartner) eigenen Nutzermedien aufbauen."All aboard and away we go" is how passengers in the area covered by the Rhine-Main Transport Association should be able to use public transport in the future. From the (((eSIM 2020 research project (completed in July 2016) the Association, in collaboration with their partners, were able to determine the feasibility of a Be-In/Be-Out (BIBO) system, which travellers are able to access using their smart phone. Based on these fidings, the BIBO system is to be developed further over the next few years, and will be available on smart phones and other mobile devices.
