Abstract

Fahrtziel Natur ist eine Kooperation der Deutschen Bahn und der drei großen Umweltverbände Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland e.V. (BUND), Naturschutzbund Deutschland e.V. (NABU) und Verkehrsclub Deutschland e.V. (VCD). In dieser einzigartigen Konstellation engagieren sich Umweltverbände und Bahn bereits seit zehn Jahren erfolgreich dafür, das Naturerbe und die Biodiversität durch aktive Förderung des nachhaltigen Tourismus langfristig zu sichern.Fahrtziel Natur is a co-operation between the Deutsche Bahn and the three major environmental organizations BUND (Friends of the Earth Germany), NABU (Nature and Biodicersity Conservation Union) and VCD (an association for sustainable mobility). Since 2001, the environmental organizations and Deutsche Bahn have been committing themselves with the protection of the natural heritage and biodiversity by promoting sustainable tourism and inviting avid travelers to explore selected natural landscapes.
