Harmonisierung von städtischer Schieneninfrastruktur in Europa. Eine Standortbestimmung zum Projekt Urban Track nach drei Jahren.

Abstract

Das Ziel des europäischen Forschungsprojektes Urban Track ist die Entwicklung harmonisierter Schieneninfrastruktur und Instandhaltungsprozesse, die es erlauben, die Lebenszykluskosten signifikant zu senken. Im Spätsommer 2009 endete das dritte Projektjahr. Das inhaltliche Review des dritten Projektjahres vor der Europäischen Kommission fand Ende November statt und dem Projekt wurde ein sehr gutes Zeugnis ausgestellt.The major goal of the European research project Urban Track is the development of harmonised urban light rail and metro infrastructure as well as harmonised maintenance methodology, which allow to considerably reduce life cycle costs. The third project year has come to an end in late summer 2009. The EC review of this third project year took place in November. Congratulation to the project was the appraisement.
