Abstract
Am ersten von BSL initiierten Ertragsbenchmarking-Projekt im ÖPNV haben sich ÖPNV-Unternehmen aus ganz Deutschland beteiligt, um ihre Ertragssituation systematisch zu analysieren und vergleichend zu bewerten. Im Fokus standen dabei das Tarifniveau, die Tarifstrukturen, die Qualität des Verkehrsangebots, die Ausgestaltung des Vertriebssystems und die Einnahmesicherung. Der vorgestellte Ansatz eines systematischen Ertragsmanagements bei Verkehrsunternehmen und -verbünden liefert eine Basis für die strategischen Weichenstellungen zur Erreichung eines höheren Kostendeckungsgrads. difu
Within the revenue benchmarking project initiated by BSL, German public transport companies of medium and large size from all over Germany were brought together with the aim of uncovering potentials to increase revenues. For this purpose, all typical main sources of income were investigated. The transport business analysis contained ticket strategy, price level, quality of transport systems, sales channel structures, ticket inspection. The presented concept of a systematic yield management at public transport companies provides an basis for the strategic changes necessary to improve the operation results. difu
