Abstract

Ljubljana war einst im Besitz eines Straßenbahnsystems, bis dieses Ende der 50er Jahre zuerst einem O-Bus und dieser dann einem Dieselbusbetrieb weichen musste. Seit den 1980er Jahren wird in Wellen eine Wiedereinführung eines leistungsfähigeren ÖV-Systems geplant und diskutiert.Ljubljana once was in the possession of tramway system. By the end of the 1950ies it was replaced by trolley buses and later by diesel buses. Since the 1980ies a re-introduction of a more capable transit system is being discussed and planned time and again. New proposals head for a Bus Rapid Transit solution.
