Abstract
Mit der Einführung des neuen Betriebssystems wird die Signal- und Zugsicherungsanlage der Wuppertaler Schwebebahn vollständig erneuert. Mit dem ETCS-basierten System wird die Leistungsfähigkeit des Verkehrssystems Schwebebahn deutlich erhöht. Der Artikel fasst die Aspekte Technik, Betriebsbedingungen und Systemumfeld, Zulassungsprozess und die Einführungsphase zusammen.
With the introduction of the new operating system, the signaling and train protection system of the Wuppertaler Schwebebahn is being completely renewed.
