Abstract

Moderne Stadtentwicklung ist ein komplexer Prozess mit einer Vielzahl an Beteiligten. Selbstorganisatorische Praktiken werfen dabei neue Fragen bezüglich des urbanen Raums, der Anpassung rechtlicher Vorgaben an die neuen Bedingungen und der Neuorganisation der Finanzplanung von Investitionen im Immobilienbereich auf. Planning Projects in Transition ist ein Leitfaden für urbane Akteure, Stadtplaner und -forscher, die sich diesen Herausforderungen stellen. Anhand einer Vielzahl von Fallstudien und eines vergleichenden analytischen Rahmenwerks untersucht das Buch Kooperationsprozesse und Resilienz und thematisiert die Hauptprobleme urbaner Transformationen: Interventionen, Regularien und Investitionen. Das Buch ist das Ergebnis eines international finanzierten Forschungsprojekts, das von der Universität Amsterdam koordiniert wurde und beschreibt urbane Projekte in der Türkei, Dänemark, den Niederlanden und Finnland.Modern urban development is a complex process involving many parties.
