Postfossile Mobilität ist mehr als Elektro-Verkehr!

Abstract

Mobilität ist ein Grundbedürfnis. Die heutige Auto-Dominanz ist allerdings nicht zukunftsfähig. Klimaschutz und Peak Oil sowie die Dauer des Übergangs zu postfossiler Mobilität verlangen neues Denken ab sofort. Verkehr der Zukunft benutzt Muskelkraft in der Nähe und sonst Strom aus erneuerbaren Energien. Nachhaltige postfossile Mobilität erfordert ein Gesamtkonzept: Multimodal im Mobilitätsverbund, Mobilitätsmanagement, nah in der Stadt der kurzen Wege, elektrisch unterwegs mit grünem Strom und mit den Bürgern für die Bürger. Für E-Autos gilt: Sie müssen ohne direkte finanzielle Förderung erfolgreich sein; sie brauchen eine flächendeckende Infrastruktur, aber nicht am Straßenrand; verkehrsrechtliche Nutzervorteile machen Sinn, aber Fußgängerzonen und Busspuren müssen tabu bleiben.
