Abstract
Das von 1977-1982 durchgeführte Forschungsvorhaben "Realisierung von Softwarekomponenten und deren Integration in ein Planungsinformationssystem" (REST) wird in Zusammenhang mit einer Betrachtung des aktuellen Entwicklungsstandes statistischer Informationssysteme kurz beschrieben. Neue Informations- und Kommunikationstechniken sind für einen konzeptionellen Wandel in diesem Bereich verantwortlich. Bei dem weiteren Aufbau kommunalstatistischer Informationssysteme werden auch Probleme der Datenschutz- und Zugangssicherung sowie der Anonymisierung behandelt werden müssen. wg
