Abstract

Vom Salzburger Verkehrsverbund wurden zum Fahrplanwechsel 2003/04 für den Regionalverkehr Fahrplanfolder je Linie aufgelegt und damit die bislang üblichen Fahrplanbücher ersetzt. Bei der Entwicklung dieser Fahrplanfolder wurde eine umfangreiche Marktuntersuchung zugrundegelegt. Diese belegte die Vorteile einer Darstellung des Fahrplanbildes in Matrixform gegenüber der tabellarischen Form und zeigte deutliche Präferenzen für die Produktion der Folder im skandinavischen Format. Die Kundenakzeptanz übertraf die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches, was sich nicht zuletzt in der Erfordernis von Nachdrucken äußerte. difuWith the 2003/2004 change of regional traffic schedules the Salzburg Traffic Association (SVV) substituted the usual hub-schedule-books by separate folders for each line. To meet customers needs regarding illustration and size of the folders appropriately substantial market research was done. Field studies supported the advantage of a matrix representation of the time schedule comparative to a tabularly illustration. Moreover the Nordic format of the folders was highly preferred. The set goals of error-free and in-time production of the folders could be fulfilled. Customer acceptance exceeded all expectations, which implied a large amount of reprints. difu
