Abstract

Die Einführung einer Stadt-Regional-Bahn Kiel ist verkehrlich, technisch und organisatorisch umfassend untersucht worden. Das Projekt hat eine Schlüsselstellung für die zukünftige Verkehrsentwicklung der Landeshauptstadt Kiel und der Region. Mit einem Nutzen-Kosten-Faktor von 2,2 in der Standardisierten Bewertung ist das Gesamtprojekt förderfähig. Durch eine Realisierung als Öffentlich-Private Partnerschaft können die Kosten um 15,5 Prozent gegenüber einer konventionellen Realisierung optimiert werden. difuThe implementation of a tram-train in the region of Kiel has carefully been analysed in terms of traffic as well as of technical and organisational aspects.
