Abstract
Evobus hat sich der Herausforderung Fahrerarbeitsplatz gestellt und das Cockpit des neuen Citaro grundlegend überarbeitet. Neben Designaspekten und Fahrgastansprüchen aller Altersgenerationen zeigt die Neuentwicklung viele Merkmale, die zur Verringerung der Belastungen des Berufsbildes Omnibusfahrer/in beitragen. Die Evobus-Entwicklung hat das Cockpit als Ganzes betrachtet und gestaltet. Der Fahrerarbeitsplatz wirkt ausgesprochen freundlich und modern. Die Umgestaltung des Cockpits und die Schalteranordnung auf der Instrumententafel wurden vor allem durch neueste ergonomische Erkenntnisse beeinflusst. Er gibt Fahrern auf Anhieb die nötige Sicherheit im Umgang mit ihrem Arbeitsgerät und motiviert mit vielerlei Faktoren.
Evobus took up the challenge to re-design the driver's workplace and cockpit of the new Citaro basically. The new driver workplace meets the requirements of driver, customer and manufacturer. Next to design aspects and customer demands of all ages, the new development shows a lot of features lowering physical and psychical strains of the bus driver job. Evobus designed and constructed the cockpit as a whole. Now, the driver's workplace seems friendly and modern. The re-design of the cockpit and the switches on the control board were affected ergonomically by latest insights. Drivers immediately gain confidence in dealing with their work station and it is motivating in many respects.
