More participation in public transport with BIOS technology.

Abstract

Mit der BIOS-Technik treibt die HAVAG mit ihren Partnern die Teilhabe insbesondere für Blinde und Sehbehinderte voran. Damit soll die Nutzung des ÖPNV sowie die Nutzung relevanter Lichtsignalanlagen (LSA) vor allem in den Abend- und Nachtstunden und somit eine selbstständigere Mobilität erleichtert werden. Im Projekt wurde mit BIOS ein System entwickelt, welches sowohl über die Grenzen von Halle (Saale) hinaus als auch in anderen Bereichen einsetzbar ist.With the BIOS technology, HAVAG and its partners advance public participation, especially for the blind and visually impaired. This is intended to facilitate the use of public trans-port and relevant traffic lights, in particular in the evening and at night, and thus more independent mobility.
