Abstract
Das am häufigsten benutzte Darstellungsmittel für absolute Werte in der thematischen Kartographie sind proportionale Größensymbole.Um die zur Erstellung von Proportionalkarten erforderlichen Rechen- und Zeichenvorgänge einem Computersystem übertragen zu können, wurde ein Satz entsprechender Unterprogramme entwickelt.Als Software-Interface für das grafische Ausgabegerät wurden die Unterprogrammaufrufe für Calcomp-Plotter (PLOT, SYMBOL, NEWPEN) gewählt.Damit sind Rechtecke, Kreise, Ellipsen, regelmäßige n-Ecke, unregelmäßige Polygone, Kugeln und Würfel zu erstellen. mst/difu
