Fernbusbahnhof mit ÖV-Anschluss. Planung und Dimensionierung des Stuttgart Airport Busterminals.

Abstract

Der sich entwickelnde nationale Fernbusverkehr hat in der Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart zusammen mit den Veränderungen im Zuge der Umsetzung des Projektes Stuttgart 21 zur Planung des Stuttgart Airport Busterminals (SAB) geführt. Dieses zentrale Busterminal verknüpft den nationalen und internationalen Fernbusverkehr mit dem ÖPNV, dem neuen Flughafenfernbahnhof und dem Flughafen selbst. Grundlagen für die Dimensionierung der Anlage wurde im Rahmen einer Potenzialstudie ermittelt. Der enge Dialog mit den potenziellen Nutzern brachte wichtige Hinweise zur baulichen Gestaltung der neuen Anlage.The developing national remote buses and the implementation of the Stuttgart 21 project have contributed to the planning of the Stuttgart Airport Bus Terminal (SAB) in the state capital. This central bus terminal establishes a link between the national and international remote bus and the public transport (ÖPNV), the new airport central bus station and the airport itself. Studies of feasibility and potential were the basis for the dimensioning of the plant. Close dialogues with potential users have given some important hints to the constructional design of the new plant.
