Abstract
Großraumbusse sind eine echte Bereicherung der ÖPNV-Landschaft. Sie bieten die Möglichkeit, große Menschenmengen wirtschaftlich zu befördern. Nachdem man in Lateinamerika davon eindrucksvolle Beispiele sieht, kommt nun auch in West-Europa Interesse auf. Auch der Busanhänger kann einen Beitrag zur Erhöhung der Wirtschaftlichkeit leisten. High-capacity buses are really an enrichment for the public transport system (ÖPNV). They offer the possiblity to transport crowds economically. As Latin America has already made impressive experiences with this possibility, Western Europe does also have interests in these transport vehicles now.
