Abstract
In Schleswig-Holstein wurden in einer technologieoffenen Vergabe 55 Akku-Triebzüge beschafft. Durch Einsatz von elektrischer Energie aus erneuerbaren Quellen wird der SPNV klimagasneutral. Die Lebenszykluskosten der Akku-Triebzüge liegen dabei einschließlich aller Kosten für Oberleitungsergänzungen nicht höher als die Kosten von Diesel-Triebzügen. Der Beitrag beschreibt, wie die Herausforderungen einer technologieoffenen Vergabe für Triebzüge und deren Instandhaltung gelöst wurden.
In a technology-open tender, 55 battery-powered trains were procured in Schleswig-Holstein. By using electrical energy from renewables, regional passenger transport becomes climate-neutral. The life-cycle costs of battery-powered multiple units, including all costs for overhead line supplements, are not higher than the costs of diesel multiple units. The article describes how the challenges of a technology-open tender for multiple-units and their maintenance were solved.
