Abstract
Lithium-Ionen-Batterien stellen die wichtigste Technologie für die Elektrifizierung von Kraftfahrzeugen dar. Die Potenziale dieser Technologie sind es, die die Grundlage des aktuellen Optimismus in Bezug auf die Einführung von Elektrofahrzeugen begründen. Die große Zahl von Materialkombinationen, die eingesetzt werden, und die große Zahl von Herstellern weltweit führen zu einem Wettbewerb der Anbieter, wodurch auch in den kommenden Jahren mit einer dynamischen Weiterentwicklung zu rechnen ist. Leistungs- und Energiedaten sind bereits heute so gut, dass die Einführung in den Fahrzeugmarkt beginnen kann.
Lithium-Ion-batteries present the most important technology for the electrification of motor vehicles. The technology?s performance gives reason for the present optimism as to the implementation of electric vehicles. The large amount of material combinations which are used as well as the large amount of manufacturers operating worldwide will lead to a competition between the suppliers thus a dynamic research and development is to be expected in the following years. At this stage, the performance and energy data are already well-elaborated, so an implementation into the vehicle market may begin.
