Der Bus mit dem Plus. Die Stadtwerke Osnabrück setzen vermehrt auf Buszüge.

Abstract

Die Stadtwerke Osnabrück setzen zurzeit sieben Omnibuszüge "Bus Plus" genannt, im Stadtverkehr ein. Was zunächst im Jahr 2010 mit zwei Buszügen begann, führte 2011 zu einer kräftigen Aufstockung um fünf weitere Exemplare. Damit sind momentan soviel Buszüge wie nirgendwo in einer deutschen Stadt unterwegs. Dieser Bericht zeigt den Weg zu ihrer Einführung und die Gründe dafür auf.Meanwhile seven bustrains, so called "Bus Plus" are in service on the streets of Osnabrück. Starting with only two of these bustrains in 2010, another five of these vehicle-combinations are under service in 2011. No other city in Germany owns such a number of bustrains. This article describes the way of the implementation and the reasons for those innovative public transport vehicles.
