Hamburger Stadtmobilität 2030. Standpunktepapier der Handelskammer Hamburg.

Abstract

Die Hamburger Handelskammer hat ihr Positionspapier Stadtmobilität in Hamburg 2030 vorgestellt, das eine umfassende Analyse der Verkehrsprobleme und zahlreiche Vorschläge zur Weiterentwicklung der gesamten Stadtmobilität enthält. Angesichts weiter zunehmenden Verkehrs gäbe es zur Verlagerung von Verkehr auf den ÖPNV kaum Alternativen. Daher schlägt die Kammer vor, durch mehr Wohnungsbau die Abwanderung in das (günstigere) Umland zu stoppen, wo das ÖPNV-Angebot unattraktiv ist und zur vermehrten Autonutzung führt. Die Bahnen müssten wegen Überfüllung häufiger fahren und 30.000 zusätzliche P&R-Plätze geschaffen werden. Als Finanzierung schlägt die Kammer vor, den Ausbau durch Erschließung und Verkauf von Baugrund zu finanzieren und für schnelle Maßnahmen einen Ausbau-Cent zu erheben.Hamburg's Chamber of Commerce issued a position paper City Mobility 2030. It contains a broad analysis of Hamburg?s traffic problems and over 50 proposals for future development of all areas of transport. In the light of further increase in goods transport and population the Chamber does see the shift of commuters to public tranport as necessary. To obtain that goal the Chamber recommends more trains to ease congestion on rapid transit lines and the construction of 30.000 additional P&R-parking spaces. To finance these and a lot of other projects the Chamber recommends that Hamburg State should develop new housing areas, sell the sites and use the profit for building rapid transit lines. Also an extra Construction Cent could be added to ticket prizes allowing for short term projects.
