Flexible Tarife im Praxistest. Potenziale von EFM-Systemen zur Weiterentwicklung des Tarifangebots im ÖPNV.

Abstract

EFM-Systeme weisen ein hohes Potenzial zur Weiterentwicklung des Tarifangebots im ÖPNV auf. Insbesondere Kunden des Gelegenheitsverkehrs können durch attraktive Rabattkomponenten gezielt angesprochen werden. Das Forschungsprojekt FlexiTarife hat gezeigt, dass solche Angebote auf sehr großes Interesse stoßen. Bei den Probanden konnte eine erhebliche Zunahme der ÖPNV-Nutzung nachgewiesen werden.Electronic fare management-systems show a high potential to develop public transport tariffs. Especially, occasional customers can be targeted by attractive rebates. The research project "FlexiTarife" indicates that the intended group of public transport users is highly interested in appropriate tariff offers. A significant augmentation of the transport demand is verified for the test persons.
