Abstract

Die Eröffnung der Kombilösung ist nach fast 20-jähriger Planungs- und Bauphase ein großer Schritt für die Stadt Karlsruhe und ihre Bürger. Während der ganzen Zeit hat die STUVAtec GmbH aus Köln die Verantwortlichen für die unterirdischen Strecken und Haltestellen brandschutztechnisch beraten. Das herausfordernde Projekt wurde durch zahlreiche Regelwerksänderungen immer wieder vor neue Umplanungen gestellt und ist so auch ein Spiegelbild der immer weiter gewachsenen Bedeutung des Brandschutzes im ÖPNV der letzten zwei Jahrzehnte.The opening of the Kombilösung is a big step for the city of Karlsruhe and its citizens after almost 20 years of planning and construction. Throughout this time, STUVAtec GmbH from Cologne provided fire protection advice to those responsible for the underground routes and stops. The challenging project was repeatedly confronted with new replanning due to numerous changes in regulations and is thus also a reflection of the ever-growing importance of fire protection in public transport over the last two decades.
