Abstract
Euro.
Starting from the end of the year 2016 modern train sets produced by the Czech rolling stock manufacturer Skoda Transportation will operate on the Bavarian railway route between the cities of Nuremberg, Ingolstadt and Munich (NIM-Express). Skoda Transportation will deliver six modern high-capacity train sets to Deutsche Bahn, with each train set consisting of six two-floor coaches and one 109 E locomotive. This gives Skoda Transportation an unique reference for the important German market. The 109 E locomotive is the second in the world to obtain the TSI High Speed RST certificate for 200 km/h. The total value of the order is about EUR 110 million for Skoda Transportation.
