Abstract

Automatisiertes Fahren wird heute sehr stark auf den Pkw mit Aspekten des Komforts und der Sicherheit fokussiert. Diese Gesichtspunkte spielen auch für Nutzfahrzeuge und speziell für den ÖPNV eine Rolle, werden aber ergänzt um wirtschaftliche Gesichtspunkte. Außerdem bieten Fahrzeuge im Linienbetrieb und im Depot weitere Potentiale zur Automatisierung, die speziell den Bus in eine Vorreiterrolle bei automatisiertem Fahren bringen können.Automated driving today is very much focused on cars with aspects of comfort and safety. These aspects also play a role for commercial vehicles and especially for public transport, but are supplemented by economic considerations. In addition, vehicles in liner operation and in the depot offer further potentials for automation, which can especially put the bus in a pioneering role in automated driving.
