Das Pforzheimer Modell zur Neustrukturierung des ÖPNV. Struktur und erste Erfahrungen.

Abstract

Als erste deutsche Großstadt privatisiert Pforzheim sein Verkehrsunternehmen und führt eine neue Organisationsstruktur im öffentlichen Personennahverkehr ein. Mit Abschluss eines Verkehrsvertrags wird die Erbringung der Verkehrsleistung auf eine neue Basis gestellt. Der vorliegende Beitrag beschreibt die Ausgangssituation und die wesentlichen Bausteine der Implementierung. Erste positive Erfahrungen zeigen, dass durch die Neuorganisation Optimierungspotenziale erschlossen werden können.Pforzheim was the first German major city to privatise its communal public transport company. At the same time the city introduced a new organisational structure for its public transport. By signing a transport contract, the urban transit is provided on a new basis. The article describes the initial situation and the fundamental parts of the implementation. First positive experiences show that the new structure is able to make optimization potentials accessible.
