Abstract

Seit 20 Jahren besteht der Fahrgastbeirat Frankfurt am Main als ehrenamtliches Gremium, das die städtische Nahverkehrsgesellschaft traffiQ und die lokalen Verkehrsunternehmen berät, aber auch konstruktive Kritik übt. Er kann auf eine beachtliche Bilanz seines Wirkens zurückblicken, bis hin zur Entstehung des bundesweiten Netzwerks der Fahrgastbeiräte. Pragmatismus (des Beirats), Akzeptanz (durch die Verkehrsorganisationen) und Offenheit (im gemeinsamen Austausch) können als wesentliche Faktoren seiner Erfolge betrachtet werden.For 20 years, the passenger advisory board Frankfurt am Main has been in existence as a voluntary committee which gives advice to the municipal public transport company traffiQ and the local transportation companies but is also offering constructive criticism where appropriate.
