Wie umgehen mit neuen Mobilitätsangeboten? APTA-Bericht: "Shared Mobility und die Wandlung des Öffentlichen Personennahverkehrs".

Abstract

Anfang letzten Jahres hat das US-amerikanischen Pendant zum VDV einen Bericht zur Bedeutung, zu den Potenzialen und den Rahmenbedingungen der Shared Mobility in Verbindung mit dem Öffentlichen Personennahverkehr herausgegeben. Er betrifft ein Thema, das auch für die deutsche Nahverkehrswirtschaft hochaktuell ist. Von ihrer Positionierung und ihren Aktivitäten in diesem Zusammenhang wird es abhängen, ob sie davon profitiert oder dadurch kannibalisiert wird. Aufgrund dessen wird es als geboten angesehen, die Feststellungen und Empfehlungen in dem betreffenden Bericht detailliert auf ihre Relevanz für deutsche Verhältnisse zu prüfen und ggf. konkrete Konsequenzen daraus zu ziehen. Jedenfalls sollte der komplexe, ganzheitliche Ansatz der Beschäftigung mit dem Thema übernommen werden.Early last year the APTA, the US-American pendant to the German VDV, published a report on the importance, the potential, and the boundary conditions of shared mobility regarding the public transit. It refers to an issue being of high actuality as well for the German transit industry. The positioning to that issue and its activities in that context will make the difference between taking advantage of it and being cannibalized by it. Because of that it is deemed to be highly recommendable to check the indings and recommendations in the report regarding the relevance for German conditions and taking the appropriate actions. In particular worthwhile being "copied" is the complex and comprehensive approach in dealing with the issue.
