Abstract

Mit der Inbetriebnahme des neuen Stadtbahnabschnittes Heilbronn Nord von der Innenstadt bis nach Neckarsulm, ist das bestehende Netz um 5,2 km erweitert worden. Da die EBO-Zulassung für das neue Stadtbahnfahrzeug ET 2010 noch nicht vorliegt, kann seit der Betriebsaufnahme nur ein Vorlaufbetrieb gefahren werden. Der Artikel berichtet von der Planungsphase, den städtebaulichen Herausforderungen bei der Integrationen der Trasse sowie vom Baugeschehen und den Möglichkeiten, eine effizientere Infrastruktur nach NE-Standard zu planen und zu bauen.With the start of operation on the new LRT section Heilbronn North running from the city center to Neckarsulm, the existing network has been expanded by further 5.2 km.
