Mobilfalt verbindet Auto und ÖPNV. Eine Innovation im ÖPNV für ländlich geprägte Regionen.

Abstract

Gerade in ländlich geprägten Regionen wird die Notwendigkeit für Innovationen im ÖPNV immer deutlicher sichtbar. Als einen möglichen Lösungsansatz hat der Nordhessische Verkehrsverbund (NVV) mit dem Projekt Mobilfalt den motorisierten Individualverkehr in den ÖPNV integriert. Der Beitrag beleuchtet die Hintergründe, skizziert die wesentlichen Projektbausteine und gibt einen kurzen Überblick über die Entwicklung seit dem Start von Mobilfalt im April 2013.The need of innovation in the local public transport especially in rural regions becomes more and more apparent. As a possible approach the transportation association Nordhessischer Verkehrsverbund (NVV) has integrated the motorized individual transport to the local public transport by implementing the Mobilfalt project. This article examines the background of important project modules and gives a short review of the development since the Mobilfalt project has started in April 2013.
